Fujifilm Introduces Five New Cameras in U.S. Market
Additions to digital camera line-up offer appeal for every consumer

Fuji
Photo Film U.S.A., Inc., a pioneer in digital imaging technology, today
announced the addition of five new consumer digital cameras to its award-winning
offerings. The company's robust line ranges from point-and-shoot simplicity
in its A-series to streamlined style in its F-series, and includes a traditional
35mm-style body with a wide range of shooting features for photo enthusiasts
in its S-series. Today's additions include three cameras in a new fourth
category, the highly versatile E-series, as well as replacements for two
popular S-series models.
The Fujifilm FinePix E-series includes the E500, E510 and E550 models.
Perfect for use in families with multiple photographers, for consumers
who are interested in growing their photography skills and for photo hobbyists
looking for a powerful feature set in a compact body, the new FinePix
E500, E510 and E550 models combine the best of point-and-shoot ease with
Fujifilm's trusted image quality. The E-series units join the company's
popular A-, F- and S-series consumer digital cameras, making a total of
14 products available to consumers over a wide range of form factors,
feature sets and price points.

New
Models
The new FinePix S3100 will replace the best-selling FinePix S3000, while
the new FinePix S5100 will replace the company's popular FinePix S5000.
The FinePix E500, S3100 and S5100 offer 4.0 megapixels, while the FinePix
E510 offers a resolution of 5.2 megapixels. The FinePix E550 offers Fujifilm's
proprietary Super CCD HR (High Resolution) sensor to capture 6.3 million
effective pixels - and the ability to take images of up to 4048 x3040

Digital
Imaging Leader Offers Full Range of Products
Fujifilm offers consumers a wide range of choices in digital cameras.
Consumers seeking easy-to-use models with point-and-shoot simplicity,
combined with a resolution of at least 3.0 megapixels and an optional
cradle system package, will find the FinePix A330 and A340 a perfect fit.
Consumers
planning to upgrade to a second digital camera, or who have been waiting
for a full feature set offering in a compact body, will appreciate the
new E-series. Fully automatic features provide point-and-shoot simplicity,
while manual and customizable feature settings provide additional control,
particularly when combined with the power of optional telephoto and wide-angle
lenses. Providing flexibility for multiple users or budding photographers,
the FinePix E500, E510 and E550 offer a minimum of 4.1 megapixels and
can be used with an optional cradle system.
Fujifilm's
sleek F-series is renowned for unique form factors, such as the slim mini-square
design of the FinePix F440 and F450. In addition, unique feature sets
and advanced technology, such as the Super CCD SR (Super Dynamic Range)
and continuous auto-focus on demand are showcased in the FinePix F700.
These cameras offer a minimum of 4.0 megapixels and come packaged with
their own cradles.
Finally,
the S-series offers an SLR-type styling and optional telephoto and wide-angle
lenses with a variety of advanced feature sets. The cameras in this series
include the new 4.0 megapixel, 6x optical zoom FinePix S3100, the new
4.0 megapixel, 10x optical zoom FinePix S5100 and the ultra-sophisticated
FinePix S7000, which offers Fujifilm's Super CCD HR 6.3 megapixel sensor
and a 6x optical zoom for serious photo enthusiasts. In addition, Fujifilm
also offers the award-winning FinePix S2 Pro, S20 Pro and upcoming FinePix
S3 Pro digital cameras for professional photographers who depend on brilliant
image results.
Availability
Fujifilm's new digital cameras will be available for purchase at consumer
electronics, mass merchandisers and photo specialty stores across the
country. The FinePix E500, E510 and E550 will be available in August 2004,
at the following approximate sale prices: FinePix E500 will sell for approximately
$299.99, the FinePix E510 for approximately $349.99, and the FinePix E550
for approximately $499.99. The FinePix S3100 will also be available in
August 2004 and sell for approximately $349.99, while the FinePix S5100
